When to use it

  • You broke a leg and have no morphine
  • Preemptively crafted before a long trip, so it is ready
  • On a teammate who cannot walk

What it does NOT treat

warning
  • Pain — pair it with codeine pills
  • Bleeding
  • Any infection

Important notes

  • Slower than morphine and you still cannot sprint properly
  • Craft from one wooden stick plus rags or a bandage
  • Weighs almost nothing — carry one made up in advance
