What it does

treatment
  • Revives an unconscious teammate
  • Works when epinephrine is not available
  • Reusable while the battery holds out

When to use it

  • A teammate is unconscious and you have no epinephrine
  • At a established base or camp where the weight is not a problem

What it does NOT treat

warning
  • A dead player — it only works on the unconscious
  • Blood loss or the injury that caused the blackout
  • Any disease

Important notes

  • Requires a charged 9V battery
  • Heavy for what it does; epinephrine is usually the better carry
