Chlorine Tablets

Makes pond water safe. The cheapest cholera insurance there is.

wateressential

What it does

treatment
  • Purifies a full canteen, bottle or pot of dirty water
  • Prevents cholera from pond, well and puddle water
  • Takes a short time to work before the water is safe

When to use it

  • Every time you fill a container from anything other than a town pump
  • Before drinking, never after
  • When boiling is not an option because you cannot make a fire

What it does NOT treat

warning
  • Cholera you have already caught — that needs Tetracycline
  • Contaminated food
  • Any wound or injury

Important notes

  • Purify before drinking; taking it afterwards does nothing
  • Boiling water over a fire achieves the same thing for free
  • Town water pumps are always safe and need no treatment

Used for

Disease

Cholera
