Draws blood from a donor into an empty blood bag.

What it does

  • Takes blood from a donor and fills an empty blood bag
  • Lets a group bank matching blood before it is needed
  • Costs the donor blood, so they need to be healthy

When to use it

  • Stocking a base or camp with usable blood bags
  • Before a risky trip, while everyone is at full health
  • When a teammate needs blood and you share a compatible type

What it does NOT treat

warning
  • Anything on its own — it only fills bags
  • You still need an IV Start Kit to actually transfuse

Important notes

  • The donor loses the blood you take — do not drain someone already hurt
  • Label or remember whose blood is in which bag
  • Test blood types before collecting, not after
